1 1/2 c. milk
2 sticks of butter
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 t. salt
4 T. yeast
1/2 c. water
1/2 t. sugar
4 eggs
abt. 7 c. flour

Scald milk and add the butter, sugar and salt. Set aside to cool.

In medium bowl dissolve the yeast, warm water and sugar.

Beat 4 eggs and add it to the milk mixture. Add 4 cups of flour and mix well. Add the yeast mixture and add three more cups of flour, mixing after each cup.

Let rest for 10 minutes, stir. Cover and let rise for 1 hr. or until doubled. Punch down and let rise 10 more minutes. Section into 2 pieces, roll out into a circle, brush with melted butter. Cut like a pie, roll each piece into a crescent roll and place on cookie sheet to let rise until doubled.

Bake at 375 for 10 - 13 minutes. Remove from oven and brush with butter.
