1 Cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup butter or margarine
1 egg beaten
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; mix well.
2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly; boil 2 minutes without stirring.
3. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla and pecans.
4. Serve warm or at room temperature over ice cream.
