1 package Betty Crocker fluffy white frosting mix
1/3 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. boiling water
1 package (16 oz) powdered sugar (4 c.)
1 c. chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Beat frosting mix (dry), corn syrup, vanilla and boiling water in small bowl on low speed until blended.** Beat on high speed about 5 minutes or until stiff peaks form. Transfer to large bowl. Gradually beat in sugar on low speed. Stir in nuts. Drop mixture by tsps. onto waxed paper. Let stand about 4 hrs. or until firm. Turn candies over. 5-6 doz.
**Because mixture is extremely stiff, use only stand (not hand) electric mixer. Not a fat-free recipe.
