1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/4 cups plus
1 tbsp butter or margarine, melted
1 pint coffee ice cream, softened
1 pint vanilla ice cream, softened
Brown Sugar Sauce

Brown Sugar Sauce:
3 tbsps. butter or margarine
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup half-and-half
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Directions:
Combine graham cracker crumbs, walnuts, and butter, stirring well. Press mixture firmly into a buttered 9-inch pie shell. Bake at 375° for 8 minutes and let cool. Spoon coffee ice cream into cool crust, spreading evenly; freeze until almost firm. Spread vanilla ice cream over coffee ice cream layer and freeze until firm. Spoon warm Brown Sugar Sauce over slices just before serving.

Brown Sugar Sauce: Melt butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat; add brown sugar. Cook 5 to 6 minutes, stirring constantly. remove from heat, and gradually stir in half-and-half. Return pan to heat and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat again; stir in walnuts and vanilla. Yields about 1 1/2 cups. Spoon warm sauce over slices just before serving.
