1 lb. ground beef
1 beaten egg
½ C. chopped onions
½ C. seasoned bread crumbs
1 T. Montreal steak seasoning
1 can of golden mushroom soup
2 T. butter, divided
1 T. vegetable oil
¼ C. red wine
8 oz. sliced mushrooms
2 C. beef broth
1 pkg. brown gravy mix

Directions:
Directions:
Heat skillet over medium heat to 1 T. butter and the vegetable oil together. Mix by hand, the following: egg, ground beef, onions, bread crumbs, steak seasoning, and ¼ of the can of soup.

Make 4 oval patties, and brown them 2 minutes per side in the butter and oil. Remove the patties from the pan and melt remaining T. of butter. Deglaze the pan with wine, scraping bits from the bottom. Add the mushrooms, and sauté until mushrooms are golden brown. Add beef broth, gravy package, and the remainder of the can of soup.

Mix well, add steaks back to pan, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes over low heat.
