2 1/2 cups miniature round butter crackers
3/4 cup butter
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 cups milk chocolate chips
chopped pecans & rainbow sprinkles optional

Directions:
Directions:
Place crackers in a lightly greased aluminum foil lined 12 X 9 pan. Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil in a medium saucepan, stirring constantly. Cook for 3 minutes. Pour mixture over crackers and bake for 5 minutes at 350. Turn oven off. Sprinkle crackers with chocolate chips and let stand in oven 3 minutes or until chocolate melts. Spread melted chocolate evevly over crackers. Top with nuts or sprinkles if desired (I've never). Cool and break into pieces. Store in fridge.

Mom and I found this in Southern Living one night while I was visiting and we made it. Don't let the chocolate get too hard...hard to break. I've made this for company and to send to Steve's office. Always a favorite! Mom told me that you can also use Saltine crackers.
