"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Put the cooked asparagus in blender after it is cooked. Add enough liquid to make a puree. Set aside. Melt butter in microwave. Stir in flour. Stir in milk with a whisk. Microwave for 2 min on high. Repeat two more times for a total of 6 min. When sauce is thick, add slices of cheese and return to microwave until cheese is melted. Simmer the bouillon in 1 cup of asparagus liquid. Add pureed asparagus and a cup of asparagus liquid to the white sauce mixture. Stir with a whisk until smooth. Heat through in the microwave. To serve float croutons or popcorn on top. ( I like small pieces of ashrams added to it)
