2 cups unsalted butter
8 oz. sweet baking chocolate
3 1/2 cups sugar
2 cups flour, sifted
pinch salt
8 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
4 cups coarsely chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 300º. Line muffin tins with paper baking liners. Melt butter with chocolate in saucepan over low heat. stirring to melt, combine sugar, flour and salt in a large bowl; stir in chocolate mixture; add eggs and vanilla; whisk just until ingredients are evenly moistened. Do not over mix. Fold in chopped nuts. Spoon batter into baking liners, filling 2/3 full. Top each with 1 pecan. Bake until toothpick comes out clean, about 40 minutes.
