4 T. unsalted butter, plus more for pan
3/4 c, all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. semisweet chocolate chips
5 whole large eggs plus 2 large egg yolks
1 1/3 cups sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 lb. cream cheese, softened

Preheat oven to 350ºF.
1. Butter a 9 x 13" baking pan and line with parchment. Butter parchment.
2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt, set aside.
3. In a barely simmering double boiler, melt together chocolate and butter. Remove from heat.
4. Beat 3 eggs and 1 cup sugar on high until thick and fluffy, about 5 minutes. On low speed, add reserved chocolate mixture and 1 tsp. vanilla. When combined, add flour mixture. Stir until just combined.
5. Spread mixture evenly in pan. Set aside.
6. Beat together cream cheese, remaining eggs and yolks, remaining sugar, and remaining vanilla on medium speed, until smooth. Pour over chocolate mixture.
7. Bake until cheese mixture is golden and set, about 35 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into about 60 1x1 1/2 inch pieces.
