4 c. thinly sliced onions
1/4 c. flour
12 c. sliced mushrooms
1 c. milk
1/8 tsp. pepper
4 T. butter
1 . chicken broth
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttered crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Sauté onions in 3 tablespoons of butter until golden.
In a saucepan, sauté mushrooms in 1/4 cup butter. Blend in flour and add broth and milk.
Stir constantly until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
In casserole dish, alternate layers. Top with buttered crumbs.
Bake at 375 degrees for 20 - 25 minutes.
