"As I ate the oysters with their strong taste of the sea and their faint metallic taste that the cold white wine washed away, leaving only the sea taste and the succulent texture, and as I drank their cold liquid from each shell and washed it down with the crisp taste of the wine, I lost the empty feeling and began to be happy, and to make plans."--Ernest Hemingway

2 pkg. broccoli slaw mix
2 pkg. Beef Ramen Noodles
1 c. dry roasted sunflower seeds
1/2 c. almond slivers (opt.)
3 sliced green onions (opt.)

2 pkg. beef seasoning packets from Noodles
2/3 c. canola oil
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. white vinegar (scant measure)

Mix dressing ingredients together until sugar is dissolved. Refrigerate until ready to serve salad.
Mix broccoli and all other ingredients except the noodles. When ready to serve, break noodles into smaller pieces. Add noodles and dressing right before serving salad in order to keep crispy texture.
