CRUST :

1 cup margarine
1 c. oats
4 Tbsp. sugar
11/2 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

Preheat oven to 400 degrees, melt the margarine
add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Pat into bottom and sides of a 8 x 12 or until golden brown. Cool.

CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE

11/2 c sugar
2/3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. milk ( divided)
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
4 eggs
2 T. margarine
2 tsp. vanilla

In saucepan, mix sugar, flour and salt. Add 2 C.milk. Mix until smooth. Bring to a boil, stirring briskly until thickened. Remove from heat; beat eggs with remaining 2 C. milk. Gradually stir into hot mixture, then put back over heat. Bring to a boil, stirring until mixture thickens a little more. Remove from heat; stir in butter, chocolate bits and vanilla until chocolate is melted. Pouring pie shell and chill. Top with Cool Whip and garnish with shaved chocolate chips and nuts.
