1 c sugar
1/3 c cocoa
1/3 c flour plus 1 tsp
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 c milk
1 T butter
1 tsp vanilla

1 baked pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, flour, cocoa, and salt with 1/2 cup of milk. Add egg yolks and beat. Place 1 1/2 cup milk in double broiler and heat until thick. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla. Pour into a baked pie crust and cool. Top with meringue made of 2 egg whites, well beaten. Add 1/2 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat until stiff. Spread over pie and bake at 400 F for 15 minutes.

If making 2 small pies make 1 1/2 the ingredients except cocoa, use only 1/3 cups.
