2 sticks butter
1 box light brown sugar
2 -3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 & 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1-6 ounce package chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter with brown sugar, let stand 10 minutes.
2. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside.
3. After butter-sugar mixture has set 10 minutes, add eggs, one at a time, stirring after each addition.
4. Stir in flour mixture and vanilla.
5. Mix in chocolate chips, being careful not to over mix so chocolate won't melt into mixture.
6. Pour into greased and floured 8-inch square pan and bake in a 350º degree oven for 25-30 minutes.
7. Cool and cut into squares. Yield: 1-2 dozen squares
