- 16 slices white bread - crusts removed
- 200gr - back bacon thinly sliced- fry lightly
- several - slices cheddar cheese
- 6 - eggs
- 1 tsp- salt
- 1/2 tsp - pepper
- 1 tsp - dry mustard
- 3 cups - milk
- 1/2 cup - butter
- 1/4 cup - finely chopped green pepper
- 1/4 cup - minced onion
- 1-2 tsp - worchestershire sauce
- dash cayenne pepper

Directions:

- cover bottom of 9 x 13 Pyrex pan with 8 slices of the bread
- cover bread with back bacon
- cover back bacon with cheese
- cover cheese with remaining bread slices

- beat eggs, salt and pepper, dry mustard, milk, cayenne.
- add worchestershire, onion, pepper.
- pour over pan of bread layers
- cover with tin foil, chill overnight in fridge

Preheat oven 350º F
- before putting in oven melt the 1/2 cup butter
- uncover casserole, and pour butter over the top
- bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes
