1 box yellow cake mix
1 envelope Dream Whip
1 c. water
4 eggs
vegetable oil according to cake mix box
1 1/2 c. white sugar or 1 1/3 c. brown sugar
1/3 c. water
2 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tarter
dash salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. miniature marshmallows
shredded coconut

Directions:

Mix cake mix, dream whip, water and oil with an electric mixture until light and fluffy. Divide batter into 2 greased and floured round cake pans (9 inch). Bake as directed. Remove from oven and turn onto cooling rack. To make icing, combine white or brown sugar, water, egg whites, cream of tarter, salt, and vanilla in top of a double boiler. Beat with an electric mixer over boiling water for 7 minutes. Add miniature marshmallows and continue to beat until marshmallows are melted. Ice cake layers and top with coconut.
