2 medium apples (1 3/4 c)
1 c sugar
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp allspice
1/2 c butter melted
1 egg
1/2 c raisins
1/2 c nuts

Preheat oven to 350

Put chopped apples into a large bowl. Add sugar and let stand for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, sift flour, and soda, salt, spices. Blend butter and egg into apple mixture. Add dry ingredients stirring until blended. Fold in raisins and nuts. Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes.
