3/4 loaf French bread, torn into 1" pcs.
1-1 1/2 lb. sausage, browned and drained
3/4 lb. shredded Swiss cheese
10 eggs
2 1/4 cups milk
1 1/2 cans Cream of Mushroom soup
sliced mushrooms (optional, for garnish)

Directions:
Directions:
Place bread in a 9 x 13 pan. Top with sausage and cheese. Mix eggs and milk and pour over all. Top with soup. Garnish with sliced mushrooms, if using. Refrigerate overnight, covered. Next day, bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 325º. Let rest for 15-20 minutes before cutting and serving.
