2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. pumpkin
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped walnuts or pecans

Preheat oven to 350º. Lightly grease cookie sheets. Sift flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and ginger together. In a large bowl, beat butter, sugar, and eggs at medium speed until fluffy. At lower speed, beat in pumpkin. Then beat in flour mixture just enough to mix thoroughly. Stir in raisins and walnuts. Drop by tablespoons 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets. Bake 12- 15 minutes or until golden. Remove to wire rack. Apply lemon glaze while cookies are slightly warm.
