2 c. molasses
1 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
1 c. bacon grease
1 or 2 eggs
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
5 cups flour

Mix ingredients in order given. Bake at 400º for about 10 minutes on greased cookie sheet.
