1 8 oz can Whole Water Chestnuts
3/4 Ib Bacon
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. Ketchup
Directions:
Directions:
Wrap chestnut in half slice of bacon and place on cookie sheet.
Bake approx. 40 minutes at 350 degrees. or until bacon is crisp.
Remove chestnuts from sheet pan to casserole dish using slotted spoon to drain excess grease.
Set aside.

Combine ketchup and sugar over medium heat until warm.
Pour over chestnuts.
Place in oven at 325 degrees for a short period of time to combine flavors.
Serve shortly.
Serve with toothpicks.
