1 box crackers
1 cup Canola oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp black pepper (1/2 tsp fresh ground black pepper)
1 tsp cayenne pepper (1/2 tsp)
1 tsp red pepper flakes (1/2 tsp)
1 pkg ranch party dip mix

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all spices and dip mix in oil. Put one sleeve of crackers in a gallon jar and pour 1/4 of spice/oil mixture over them. Continue until all the crackers are in the jar with all the spice/oil. Put a lid on the jar and turn it upside down, then roll it around on it's side. Continue until the all the crackers are coated.

Let stand overnight (or all day) and enjoy!
You can buy a plastic gallon jar at walmart for under $3.00.

Here is the recipe as it was given to me. The first time I made them, I used the recipe as is and they were too hot for me. The changes in the parentheses are what I used.
