Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I got this recipe from Ms. Mary Addison, (Aunt Jeannie's mom) in 1978. She had made them for a church function at Pleasant Hill and I loved them. So I called her and she read the recipe to me over the phone. The part where it called for butter she said "1 stick of oleo", I remember asking her what was oleo?, she said "butter, honey". I have been making these cookies every year. They are your Uncle Hank's favorite and he get a dozen or so for his birthday each year. Sometimes I have had a hard time getting them to him, I have left them in his truck and one time even left them in his mail box. They are also a favorite of Uncle Steve's, mailed some one time and all he got was COC crumbs.
