1 and 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c.packed brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2c. p. butter
1 egg
2 T. milk
1 tsp vanilla
48 chocolate kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Mix on lowest speed until dough forms. Shape into balls. Roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375º for 10-12 minutes. top with chocolate kiss immediately.
