1 lb. bacon, fried, cooled & cut into 1" pieces
8 lg. potatoes, peeled and cubed to bite sized
1 pkg. frozen green beans
2 med. onions, peeled and diced
1 stick butter
1 qt. half & half
cornstarch dissolved in cold water
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Boil potatoes, green beans and onions until potatoes are tender. Use just enough water to cover the veggies by about an inch. Slightly salt the water. Do no remove water when potatoes are done. Add the butter and half & half. Thicken soup with cornstarch mixture. Add the bacon and keep on low heat for about 15 minutes to allow flavors to blend together. Season with salt and pepper.
