1 stick butter
2 Tbs. white Karo Syrup
2 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped nuts
pinch salt
1 egg
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. coconut

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in skillet. Add Karo, dates, nuts and salt. Beat egg and sugar together and add to skillet. Stir and cook until thick. It should not fall off spoon. Add vanilla. Let cool until it can be handled. Form 2 long logs. Roll in coconut and refrigerate 2 hours. Slice and eat.
