5 or 6 slices bacon, diced
2 T flour
1/3 c. sugar
2 t salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 egg
1/4 c. vinegar
1 c. water
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 qt sliced cooked potatoes

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon until brown and remove. Drain off excess fat, reserving 1/4cup in the skillet. Add flour, sugar, salt and pepper and blend. Beat egg, add vinegar, water and lemon juice. Add gradually to mixture in skillet, stir and cook until thickened. Add bacon and remaining ingredients.
