2 ¼ c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
2 sticks butter
¾ c. sugar
¾ c. packed brown sugar
1 t. vanilla
2 lg. eggs
12 oz package chocolate chips
1 c. nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter and sugars in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs. Mix well. Stir in dry ingredients. Mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts (optional). Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes until edges are browned.
