For cookies:
¾ cup granulated sugar
½ cup shortening
1 egg
½ cup sour cream
½ t. baking soda
½ t. baking powder
2 cups flour
Juice and zest of 1 orange

For glaze:
1 cup confectioner’s sugar
2 T. orange juice
(add orange food color, if desired.)
Directions:

Drop by tbsp. on parchment paper lined cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
