Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 box angel food cake mix
1 16 oz. package frozen sliced strawberries in syrup, thawed and divided
1 pt. heavy whipping cream
1/3 c. powdered sugar
3 to 4 tsp. instant vanilla pudding (do not prepare)
1 to 3 drops red food coloring
several fresh strawberries, to garnish if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare angel food cake according to package directions. Invert cooled cake on a platter. Thaw frozen sliced strawberries and set aside 1/4 c. for the frosting. With a sharp knife make cuts 1" apart in the top of the cake, cutting about 3/4 of the way through the cake. Do not cut all the way through the bottom or the side of the cake! With a spoon stuff sliced strawberries, juice included, into each cut until strawberries are used up. With a mixer beat the cream, powdered sugar, dry vanilla pudding, food coloring, and 1/4 c. reserved strawberries until throughly mixed and stiff. Frost entire cake with the cream mixture. Garnish the top and/or sides of the cake with a few fresh strawberries if desired. Keep cake refrigerated until ready to serve or else frosting will become too soft.
