1 clove garlic
1/2 lb. Swiss cheese shredded
1/2 lb. Gruyere cheese shredded
3 T flour
2 cups dry white wine
1 T lemon juice
1/8 tsp salt
Dash of pepper & nutmeg
2 T kirsch or cognac

Directions:
Directions:
Rub garlic in pot and throw away. Toss cheeses with four. Pour wine into Fondue pot and set on low flame. When bubbles, pour in lemon juice and gradually add the cheeses, stirring constantly until melted. Add spices and kirsch or cognac.
Serve with French or Italian bread cubes. Each piece should have an edge with crust.
