4 1/2 c sugar
1 can evaporated milk
1 stick + 2 tbls margarine

2 pkgs (12 oz each) chocolate chips
1 1/2 pint of marshmallow cream
2 c nuts if desired
1 lb Hersey bar

Directions:
Directions:
Stir first 3 ingredients in pan on stove top until it reaches 236º softball stage. Stir constantly with wooden spoon.

Then pour hot mixture from stove over crumbled Hersey bar, chips, marshmallow cream and nuts if desired.

Mix VERY FAST until smooth and creamy.

Pour into wax-lined tins.

The fudge making event we have as a total family after Thanksgiving dinner at Dave and Nikki's is a tremendous story and effort as well. Over the last few years we have been known to make at least 100-150 tins of fudge. Even the guys in the family stir and stir and they wear aprons. They even wave football sometimes to help make the tins of fudge.
