Cake:
2 sticks margarine
2 c sugar 4 eggs
1 1/2 c flour 1 - 7 oz marshmallow cream
1 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/3 c cocoa
1 c chopped nuts 1 c coconut

Frosting:
1 stick margarine 1/3 c cocoa
1 box powdered sugar 7 tbls Pet milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mis all ingredients for cake (except marshmallow cream) in a large bowl.
Grease and flour a 9 X 13 baking pan.
Pour batter in the pan and bake at 350º for 30-40 minutes.
Remove from oven and spread marshmallow cream while hot......then cool.

Mix frosting and spread over cake when cool.

I got this recipe from a student when I was teaching at Kaw Area Vocational School. We would have treat days and students would bring their favorite treat and then they would share their recipe for their treat with the class.
