1 1/2 lb. shredded green cabbage
1 TSR salt
2/3 c sugar
1/3 c cider vinegar
1 c whipping cream (do not whip)
Directions:
Directions:
Place shredded cabbage in covered dish in refrigerator for several hours.

Mix ingredients in order given 30 minutes before serving.

Chill and serve.

This recipe is from the famous Brookville Hotel in Brookville, Kansas. For the Mom and Dad's 50th birthday, we ended our tour of north central Kansas by having a wonderful family dinner in Brookville at this hotel. I got a copy of the recipe from them and have been serving to our family ever since that special time together.
