Ingredients:

2 ½ C. bran flakes
2 C. wheat germ
1 C. sesame seeds
2 C. brown sugar
5 C. whole wheat flour
5 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Mix the above ingredients together in a very large bowl. Add to the dry ingredients:

1 C. honey
½ C. molasses
1 C. oil
4 slightly beaten eggs
1 qt buttermilk
2 C. boiling water

Directions:

Mix well with spoon (no need to use a beater)

Pour in muffin tins. Bake at 350 for 15 – 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

Batter may be stored up to a month in jars in the refrigerator. The muffins also freeze well and the recipe can be cut in half.

Makes approximately 60 muffins.
