1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup pumpkin
1 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
1 tsp each (cinn, soda, baking powder)
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup nuts

Icing:
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick margerine
4 Tablespoons milk
vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together ingredients for cookies. Bake at 350 degrees about 10 min.

Bring icing to rolling boil. Remove from stove and add 2 cups sifted powder sugar.

Dip tops of warm cookies in icing.
