1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 t. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. coconut
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Mix in remaining ingredients. Make into rolls and refrigerate overnight. Slice and bake at 400º for 15 minutes.

Mother has a note on her recipe card - "Do NOT double." (Not because they are not good but because a double batch overflow her mixing bowl!)
