4 eggs
1 1/2 c. finely crushed Oreos
1/4 c. chopped walnuts or pecans
3 T. melted butter
3 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 T. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
5 squares semi-sweet chocolate (melted)
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Crust: Combine Oreos, butter & nuts. Press firmly into bottom and 1 3/4" up sides of 9" springform pan. Bake @ 325º for 6 minutes. In large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until creamy. Stir together sugar, flour & salt, blend into cream cheese. Add eggs all at once. Beat until fluffy. Stir in the melted chocolate, milk & vanilla. Turn into slightly baked crumb-lined pan. Bake on a cookie sheet @ 350º for 60 minutes or until center appears set. Remove from oven; cool 15 minutes, then loosen sides of cheesecake from pan w/ spatula. Cover & chill for 2 hours. Melt one sq. semi-sweet chocolate and 1/2 tsp. shortening. Drizzle in lattice design over top. Chill until set.

I have a lot of cheesecake recipes. This is my familiy's favorite. I have made this cheese cake with a graham cracker crust, left out the chocolate and served as a plain cheesecake.
