4 1/2 cups sliced carrots
3/4 t. salt
6 T. butter or margarine
3/4 cup cubed cheddar cheese
2 sliced onions
2 cups water
3 T. flour
3/4 cup breadcrumbs or croutons

Directions:
Directions:
Boil carrots, salt, onions in water for 10 minutes. Melt butter, add flour and 1/2 cup water from carrots. Add cheese. Layer in casserole. Top with crumbs and bit of butter.

Bake at 350º for one hour.
