Directions:
Directions:
Bake at 475º 1 self above the Middle. - Use greased round 9' metal pan. (I double this recipe)
Cut in with pastry blender or with hands, flour, crisco, sugar,& baking powder in a large bowl. Get the mixture to look like a pea size.
Pour 1 C. cold Butter milk over dry mixture stirring with a rubber spatula. Keep adding milk until the mixture becomes a very wet dough. This makes the biscuits fluffy inside.
Flour hands to begin making biscuits.
Pinch off the dough or use a ice cream scoop to dip into the batter. Dip each biscuit into a small bowl full of flour. Make sure your hands are floured when you pick up the biscuit and shake the extra flour off in your hands & round it softly in both hands. Put in greased pan, each biscuit touching the other. Put one in the middle of the pan also. Drizzle melted butter over each biscuit and bake in Hot oven until brown. 10-15 Minutes
Keep a eye on them. Each oven is different

Personal Notes:
This recipe won the contest for best biscuit in Atlanta. I use it all the time and they come out great. When I moved down to Georgia I could not make a good biscuit until I saw this program.
Don't give up if it doesn't work the first time.
It is worth the time to make these biscuits.
Ron likes Home made milk gravy over them.
