1 (18.25 oz.) box white cake mix
1 (3oz.) box strawberry flavored instant gelatin
1 (10oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed, pureed
4 large eggs
1/2 cup veg oil
1/4 cup water

Directions:
Preheat to 350º., Lightly grease 2 round 9in.cake pans. In lrg bowl combine cake mix and gelatin. Add pureed berries, eggs, oil, and water; beat at med speed until smooth. Pour into pans, and bake for 20 min. let cool in pans for 10 min. Remove. and cool completely on wire racks. Spread Cream Cheese Frosting in between layers and on top and sides of cake. Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries, if desired.
