1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves minced garlic
1 T. oil
2 lbs. ground beef
2 cans(15oz) tomato sauce
2 cans(6oz) tomato paste
1 1/2 cups water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. oregano

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions and garlic in oil over low heat until soft. Add ground beef, breaking up until brown. Stir in tomato sauce and paste. Add water, salt, pepper and oregano.Cover and simmer for at least 30 minutes.

You can add more oregano to suit your taste. Add it by the 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon so you don't over season
