Mix in Bowl
2 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt

Mix in Sauce Pan-Bring to a boil, stir constantly
1 C. Water
1 Stick Butter
1/2 C. Crisco
3 T. Cocoa
Pour over dry ingredients - Stir together
Add
2 Eggs alternately beating each well before adding
Mix together
1 tsp. Baking soda into -
1/2 C Buttermilk Then add to mixture
Add
1 tsp. Vanilla
Stir

ICING:
1 Box powdered sugar
1 Stick Butter
3 T. Cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 C. Chopped pecans (optional)

Directions:
Bake 350º for 20 Minutes in a Cookie sheet with sides. 18X11-1/2
Grease and flour pan. Pour batter into the cookie sheet and bake. When cake is baking make the icing in a sauce pan.
Bring icing to a boil and pour over cake as soon as you remove from the oven. Sprinkle nuts on top. Cool to serve.

This is a very rich cake and everyone loves it. Uncle Del Fox called it the Diet Destroyer. It is almost like eating a candy bar. I got this recipe from my mother-in-law Lorene Charles from Texas
