1 medium cabbage, cut in small pieces
6 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
2 tsp flour
1/4 cup cider vinegar
2 tsp salt
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tsp sugar
1/8 pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In large saucepan heat 1 inch water to boiling. Add Cabbage and salt. Return to boiling. Cover and cook 5 minutes. Drain well, reserving 1 1/4 cups cooking liquid. Keep cabbage warm. Cook bacon crisp and drain. Keep it out. Add onion and saute golden. Sprinkle flour and sugar. Stir in cabbage liquid, vinegar, and pepper. Cook until thick. Add bacon and cabbage. Stir gently and coat.
