4 large baking potatoes
2/3 C. butter or margarine
2/3 C. all purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper
6 C. milk
1 C. (8 oz) sour cream
1/4 C. thinly sliced green onions
10 bacon strips; cooked and crumbled
shredded cheddar for topping

Directions:
Bake potatoes at 350º F. for 65-75 min. or until tender. Cool completely. Peel and cube potatoes. In a large saucepan, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk. Bring to a boil; cook and stir 2 min or until thickened. Remove from the heat. Whisk in sour cream. Add potatoes and green onion.
Garnish with bacon and cheese.
