1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or marg.
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. + 2 T. brown sugar
1/2 t. baking soda
1/4 c. + 1 T. white sugar
1 1/8 c. flour
1 t. vanilla
1 c. semi-sweet choc. chips
1 egg




Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Beat softened butter and sugars together until creamy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop by spoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-11 minutes, turning the cookie sheet once during baking, until the cookies are golden brown. Let stand on cookie sheet for 2 minutes. Cool completely on wire cooling rack.
