Dressing:
1/2 cup light oil (not olive oil)
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 1/2 t. soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Salad:
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 pkg. ramen noodles (just noodles)
3 T. butter
1/3 cup sunflower kernels
About one head lettuce or mixture of different kinds of lettuce
broccoli and/or cauliflower flowerettes (opt.)
green onions

Directions:
Directions:
Saute walnuts and ramen noodles (broken up into small pieces) in butter. Add sunflower seeds, but watch as they will burn easily. Break up lettuce, broccoli and/or cauliflower and green onions.,

Mix dressing in a jar or shaker and refrigerate overnight. Shake or mix well before tossing on the salad. Pour it on salad right before serving.
