1 1/2 lbs boneless chuck
2 Tbsp oil
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 c water
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups celery,sliced
4 green peppers, cut into 1/8ths
1 bunch green onions, whites sliced, greens cut into1/8ths
1 Tbs soy sauce
2 beef bullion cubes
cornstarch
1 package crisp Chinese noodles (optional)

Directions:
Cut meat into strips, 1/2 x2". Brown in oil. Add salt and 1 cup of water. Cover and simmer about 15 minutes or until tender. Add remaining ingredients except cornstarch and noodles. Cook about 8 minutes until the pepper is tender but still crisp. Thicken with cornstarch mixed with a little water. Serve with rice and the noodles if desired
