Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained
3 cans of tomato sauce
1/3 cup minced onion
1/3 cup minced green bell pepper
5 bay leaves
1 clove of garlic
salt and pepper to taste
You can also add other spices to taste, like basil, oregano and other Italian spices

Directions:
Directions:
After browning and draining hamburger meat, add tomatoe sauce, onion, bell pepper, salt, pepper and any other spices. Crush garlic and add to sauce. Bring to a slow boil. Add bay leaves, being careful not to break them. Reduce heat. Let simmer, stirring occasionally. The longer it simmers, the better it tastes. I usually make this the night before and simmer for an hour. Then the next morning, you can put it in a crock pot on low for a few hours then let it warm until dinner time. Delicious!!
