1 C. regular all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
½ C. soft butter 1 egg yolk, beaten
1 C. small curd cottage cheese

Directions:

Sift flour, measure and combine in a bowl with butter, cottage cheese, and salt. Mix thoroughly with a spoon until well blended. Shape into a ball, place on a lightly floured board, and knead about 10 times. Roll one-half inch thick and cut in rounds 2 inch in diameter (or smaller). Brush tops with beaten egg yolk. Place on a greased baking sheet and bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Serve hot.
